But that is not the case, especially if, by politics we mean the company, in fact, in my opinion, never before the brand new and revolutionary

can be earned the name of the politically correct medium, thus becoming a stereotype of consistency and corporate consciousness !!

It is indisputable that for some years, in particular coinciding with the entry of the audi company, the Ducati company has implemented and proposed new products, with innovative models and solutions, which for some traditionalist enthusiasts, represented a slow decay due, according to these, by the loss of identity and at the same time those distinctive features that characterized the Ducati brand, capable of transmitting a sense of absolute uniqueness and belonging , intended for those few passionate fundamentalists from the palate up, who enjoyed the tinkling of the dry clutch, the typical sound of the Pompone (a very good name that in a single word made the idea and the concept of what they were able to transmit those thrusters !!) and the wonderful frame with a joined traliccio and emphasized by the perfect combination with the Ohlins !!
He enjoyed these means, with abrupt and unreliable ways, defined in unison by all the owners, with great pride of belonging, such as “rude”, “arrogant” and unreliable in expressing their qualities and peculiarities, in short unmistakable and very clear distinctive traits, which left no doubt about their nature and in the matrix of the brand that generated them !!!!
But you know, a company hardly supports itself with the sole passion of a few lovers and purists, so in recent years we have witnessed a process of genesis, which in favor of company growth, over time has changed the denominators of the means produced, introducing and paving the way for technical innovations that have been a springboard to the company, with the care, however, ,during this long transhumance, to always leave at least one trace of that original and distinctive DNA that represented Ducati; but only to this day.
With the new Multistrada V4, Ducati closes with the matrix of the past, definitively cutting that umbilical cord that, although thin, always remained connected, making you remember that it is always her: the “mater certam”, taking you back to those increasingly weak traces of imprinting that gave the possibility to corroborate and pronounce the canonical phrase : “It always remains a Ducati”.
With this new creature, the company abandons its past and its origins, creating something that does not repeat tradition and its history, but definitively eliminates those last few distinctive features that were the prerogative of this factory. So in this case after many years, for the first time history does NOT repeat itself, thus responding to the fervour of a company policy that was coherent and targeted, or better defined as “politically correct”, aimed at colliding the skills and characteristics of a versatile, easy, within everyone’s reach, capable of grinding kilometers without any effort.
